My Love Affair with Lace

Love Affair with Lace

Lace is undoubtedly one of the most gorgeous fabrics out there and this inspiration board captures its beauty. I especially love when lace is used in unconventional ways, like on a cake, in a bouquet or on top of a wedding invitation. I may be partial though, since most of my wedding incorporates this feminine feature. What do you all think? Love or hate?

  1. The first few dresses I tried on were lace and very pretty but very not me, unfortunately 😦 I’m always jealous of the girls who can really pull off lace dresses. I LOVE the idea of lace bouquet wraps, though.

  2. When I first went dress shopping, I DID NOT want lace but lo and behold, that’s what I wore. It was head to toe lace, the Maggie Sottero Kamryn….and I LOVED it. I cried the first time I tried it on.

  3. Addicted to lace! Will likely be in my new logo and blog redesign. Nice inspiration board!

  4. I am such a lace girl all the way, and this board is awesome!! My dress had to have lace, and if I could have had them, there would have been heirloom lace tablecloths draped on every table at our wedding!

  5. Lace is just so dreamy. That cake is amazing. I love the idea of lace dollies as part of the centerpieces and the guestbook table.

  6. Love! This is such a fab board lady! esp. love the lace invite! So romantic & elegant!
