Alexander McQueen was never afraid to ‘color outside of the lines’ when it came to his fashion, which is what made him such a legendary designer. [Via]
This post doesn’t need much explanation because we all know how amazing Alexander McQueen’s designs are and what a fantastic person he was. His death was such a huge loss to the fashion world, and it’s still yet to be seen if anyone can follow in his well-defined footsteps. Although I’m definitely more argyle, cashmere and pale pink than skulls, nylon and black, I still have nothing but admiration and respect for his work. And every once in a while, I feel a little edgy, so a clutch with a skull clasp may replace my rosette ruffle clutch on those darker days of mine. So to pay respect to a fabulous designer (and person), I’m showcasing some of his legendary bags this #ThursdayPurseday! All bags can be found at Neiman Marcus.
Nylon Printed Skull Shopper
Faithful Topstiching Hobo
Studded Cracker Leather Bowler
Skull Embossed Zip-Top Tote
and the finales (yep, 2 this time!)….
Queen Skull Box Clutch
Studded Skull Clutch
This one is my absolute favorites. It’s so Rock N Roll/punky (which is totally not my style) but I’d surprise everyone by rocking this will a LBD at a fancy dinner party!
